In teams of two, my partner and I, were asked to design a product and its function. A specific demographic was chosen, and a package template was randomly assigned to each team. After designing an original product, students designed a second item to expand the company line. (Our products are on-the-go cool mint mouth spray and spearmint toothpaste. While designing the packaging, we kept in mind the 16 year old male demographic and thought about what would attract his eye on a shelf. We designed the appearance to be clean and modern, with vibrant and eye-catching colors to emphasize our intense flavoring. Our bold fonts are there to stand out and catch one’s attention while browsing through the isle. The packaging has a simple approach, but has the information displayed aesthetically for a teenage audience.)
